1. Grand Canal Dock
Also known as the Silicon Docks this is the perfect spot to get a sleek image of modern Dublin. Designed by American landscape architect Martha Schwartz, the red glowing stick ‘red carpet’ sculpture contrasted with the ‘green carpet’ makes for some really brilliant photos!
Make sure to go in the evening to really get the perfect pic!

2. Sandymount Strand
Want to escape those city lights? Hop on a bus and head to the coast. Immortalised in James Joyce’s Ulysses, Sandymount Strand is home to Martello Tower, An Cailín Ban, Gallan Gréine, and the iconic poolbeg towers. No doubt you’ll get some wonderful shots in this beautiful part of Dublin.

3. The Long Room, Trinity College Dublin
Initially built between 1712 and 1732, the Long Room in the Old Library offers the opportunity for some fantastic shots! At nearly 65 metres long and filled with 200,000 books, we can see why this is one of the most impressive libraries in the world!

Top Tip: If you want something a bit more secret and special visit the Museum Building, only a stone’s throw away from the Old Library, you won’t be sorry!
Built between 1853-57 and designed by Thomas Deane and Benjamin Woodward it was inspired by the Byzantine architecture of Venice. Have fun with angles and explore this fascinating building with its contrasting use of stone and mosaics, beautiful domes, and 108 highly decorated carved capitals.

4. Temple Bar
Steeped in history we highly recommend grabbing your camera and taking a stroll down the narrow cobbled streets of the Temple Bar Area. Full of atmosphere it is a big tourist destination, and you can see why.
Top Tip: If you want a quiet shot go early in the morning to avoid foot traffic!

5. Georgian Doors, Merrion Square
Step back into Georgian Dublin at Merrion Square where you can find the typical design of Georgian Houses. These wonderful doors are so ornate painted in beautiful bright colours, with elegant knockers,wrought iron boot scrapers and charming, mostly original, fanlights above the door. Put on a snazzy outfit and snap a shot to feel like you belong to the gentry!

6. The Wooden Bridge, Clontarf
A short bus ride will take you away from they city and bring you to the beautiful Clontarf. Built in 1819, this single-lane Wooden Bridge leads to Bull Island at Dollymount. Walk over this stunning bridge at sunset or sunrise to ensure you get a stunning pic!

7. St. Patrick’s Cathedral
At over 800 years old, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is a true Dublin icon as it rises above the Dublin skyline. Beautiful inside and out this won’t disappoint!
Top Tip: If you want a quiet pic, go 30 minutes before closing!

8. Ann’s Lane
This hidden gem is right off Grafton Street. These beautiful umbrellas belong to Zozimus Bar, and make the perfect backdrop for any picture!

9. The Guinness Gate, James’ Street
Well Dublin is the home of the black and white stuff. Originally leased to Arthur Guinness in 1759 for IR£45 (Irish pounds) per year for 9,000 years, the St. James's Gate area has been the home of Guinness ever since. Take your quintessential Dublin pic outside this historic brewery.
Top Tip: End your trip in Gravity bar (inside the Guinness Storehouse) which boasts endless panoramic views and a well-deserved complimentary pint.

10. Phoenix Park
Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed public park in Europe. It’s a gorgeous landscape to escape to, with a large herd of fallow deer roaming around the vast green space. Only a mile and a half from O’Connell Street, Phoenix Park is also home to the Zoological Gardens, Áras an Uachtaráin, and Victorian flower gardens.
Top Tip: The park is vast and there are no public toilets and few cafés. Make sure you go to the loo beforehand and bring a picnic with you so you can enjoy the day!
