Landscape Photography Workshop

Turner Building, rm 107, 19.02.19, 6pm.

Leave the laptops in the library and learn about landscape! Join us as we learn which lenses and settings are best to use, how to use natural light to your advantage, and lots of other tips and tricks to capture and create your unique landscape shot!

Gallivant to the Gallery!

Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, 21.02.19, 6pm.

Don’t miss out this Thursday when we will take you to Ireland’s best Photography Gallery in Dublin! This year is Grianghraf’s 10th anniversary and they are celebrating by arranging a Light Exhibition that can’t be missed. So come along to get inspiration after those boring lectures!

Entrance is free, and on Thursday the Gallery closes at 11pm so no excuses to not join!

Discover Dublin

Phoenix Park, 23.02.19, 12pm.

The last event of the week is Discover Dublin. Come with us as we join the Hidden History Society and delve and dive deep into Dublin’s most delightful and dreary dwellings! This week we will joining the Hidden History Society to uncover all that daedalian Dublin has to offer.

So bring your camera and capture the secrets of this historic city!

It’s a Wrap!-End of Term Exhibition

Don’t forget to keep submitting your pictures for the It’s a Wrap exhibition .

*****The submission deadline is 5pm on the 22nd of February. *****

This year we are looking at Disruption in its broadest sense, from roadworks to mass migration. We are so excited to see how you interpret the theme!

Submission Details:

You can submit up to 6 images.

Please submit as a JPEG or PNG only!

Please include your name and captions for each photograph!

Email your submission to thephotosoc@gmail.com with the subject line “DISRUPTION”.

Lastly, don’t forget to buy tickets for It’s a Wrap this Wednesday at 5-6pm in the Turner building!
